Sameer Mahajan holds an MBA in Finance from NMIMS University. He has spent the last 12 years of his career primarily in the financial services industry. He began his career in Mumbai with Axis Bank. He worked for the bank for about four years and was exposed to several verticals such as Corporate Strategy (CEO Office), Corporate Banking, and Transaction Banking for large and mid-sized corporates.

In 2016, he moved to Yes Bank to manage MNC/New Age business partnerships in North and West India, where he began sourcing growth-stage start-ups. The primary responsibility was to ensure immaculate client selection, prepare credit appraisal notes, and present them to risk and top management for sanctioning loans to new age businesses.

Currently, Sameer is a director at StrideOne, leading the NBFC business and has played an instrumental role in growing the business. Previous organizations include Axis Bank, IDFC First Bank, Yes Bank and Standard Chartered Bank
